Low Light Shooting
This course will provide the student exposure to skills necessary to function in low light, or total darkness. While flashlights will be utilized, students will also be taught to shoot in a totally dark environment, without benefit of a flashlight/illumination. In addition, skills learned in Advanced Handgun I and II will be expanded to allow the student to learn to reload, clear malfunctions and utilize cover for proper movement either singly, or with a partner.
Equipment
- Handgun with 300 rounds of ammunition
- Belt, holster and pouches (minimum of 3 pouches)
- At least 3 magazines for the handgun used<./li>
- Hearing and vision protection
- Tactical flashlight (Surefire, Streamlight, etc.) in either 6 or 9 volt
- APR (Gas Mask)
Cost

Bear Creek Tactical is now hosting: International Defensive Pistol Association matches monthly. Shooters meeting will be held at 9:30 am with shooting to begin at 10:00 amIDPA is a shooting sport that uses practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated "real world" self-defense scenarios. IDPA shooting events require use of ever practical handguns and holsters that are truly suitable for self-defense. No "competition only" equipment is permitted in IDPA matches since the main goal is to test the skill of ability of the individual, not the equipment or gamesmanship.We offer a family environment, as well as persons with disabilities facility!
