Submachinegun Operator Course

This course is designed to teach nomenclature, assembly/disassembly, shooting techniques, reloading, clearing of stoppages, transition to handgun; engagement of multiple targets, moving targets, shoot vs. don’t shoot drills, low light shooting and shooting with an APR (gas mask).

Equipment

Submachine gun (with sling) and 2000 rounds of ammunition
Mountable tactical light for subgun
Duty handgun with 200 rounds of ammunition< /li>
Belt, holster and (3) pouches for handgun
Hearing and vision protection
Wet/cold weather gear
Knee/elbow pads
APR (Gas Mask)

Cost

$475.00 ($50.00 deposit required) for the 3 day course.

Bear Creek Tactical is now hosting: International Defensive Pistol Association matches monthly. Shooters meeting will be held at 9:30 am with shooting to begin at 10:00 am

IDPA is a shooting sport that uses practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated "real world" self-defense scenarios. IDPA shooting events require use of ever practical handguns and holsters that are truly suitable for self-defense. No "competition only" equipment is permitted in IDPA matches since the main goal is to test the skill of ability of the individual, not the equipment or gamesmanship.

We offer a family environment, as well as persons with disabilities facility!

We welcome new shooters and will provide one on one assistance
