Defensive Carbine I
Introduction
Considering the ultimate in firepower to protect yourself and your family? A carbine or shotgun can be the answer. Defensive Carbine Tactics and Defensive Shotgun Tactics courses give you the skills needed to use these guns to their full potential in close-quarters and mid-range situations.
This course is designed for short rifles with barrels of 18 inches and under. The following is a list of common carbines used, but is not a list of the only acceptable guns: Ruger Mini-14 or Mini-30, AR-15 shorty with or without collapsible stock, H&K 93, 94, 33, or 53, Marlin Camp Carbine, M-1 Carbine, Steyr AUG, SKS, MAK-90, or any other semi-automatic 16-to-18-inch-barrel weapon. Please note that a scoped carbine should not be used unless it has iron-sight capability or the scope is integral to the gun (such as that of the Steyr). Tactical dot scopes are ok.

- Target Acquisition

- Tactical and combat reloading
- Cover and concealment firing
- Positional Shootiong
- Tactical Sling Applications
Cost
$375.00 ($50.00 deposit required) for the 2 day course.Equipment
- Carbine with 18-inch or shorter barrel. Iron sights or red-dot sights only.
- Tactical carbine sling.
- 3 magazines for carbine.
- Magazine pouches or tactical vest with magazine pouches.
- 500 rounds of carbine ammunition.
- Handgun (w/ 100 rounds of ammunition) with hip holster and belt.
- Eye and ear protection.
- Clothing suitable for weather conditions
- Hat, sunglasses and sunblock
- Kneepads (optional)
