U.S. Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-FL) has introduced the National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2011 (H.R. 822). This legislation allows people with a gun-permit to carry a concealed firearm when they travel to another state.
This bill currently has 243 Co-Sponsors. But this bill needs to get out of Committee and come before Congress for a VOTE!
Here is the Congressional wording of this very important bill: "This bill amends the federal criminal code to authorize a person who is carrying a government-issued photographic identification document and a valid permit to carry a concealed firearm in one state, and who is not prohibited from processing, transporting, shipping, or receiving a firearm under federal law, to carry a concealed handgun (other than a machinegun or destructive device) in another state in accordance with the restrictions of that state."

Criminals commit crimes with UNREGISTERED black market guns. Criminals also DO NOT register for concealed carry licenses.
Let me give you an example---and Mr. Obama will not let you see this vital information---in Florida, since 1997, out of 350,000 gun permits issued, there was ONLY ONE who was convicted of homicide! Only one!
Many other states' crime rates dropped drastically after they adopted concealed carry laws!
The bottom line: When people carry a firearm they can defend themselves and protect others!
Believe me, when your family is at stake, you cannot wait for the police to respond in several minutes. You have to do what you have to do---that's why our Forefathers decided that it is a Constitutionally-given right TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS. Not just for you, your personal family, but to defend your country! And that right MUST BE PRESERVED!
